Stella Nolasco NYFW
By Dominique Hanke
Stella Nolasco is known for her beautiful, feminine designs, often using delicate lace to create flowing lines. This season, inspired by the romanticism of her Puerto Rican heritage, Nolasco embraced the vibrant Caribbean colours and worked with some strong floral prints and more structural lines.
Her collection opened in true Nolasco style with beautiful lace gowns hitting the runway, her use of bold colour really making an impact.
The floral silks Nolasco introduced were paired up with structured cream silk pieces that really stood out and brought a sense of modernity to the otherwise romantic and feminine collection.
My favourite piece was a beautiful copper orange dress with sheer lace top and silk skirt. The piece was feminine, romantic and fresh.
