LVMH seems to be on the fast-track to acquiring more luxury brands to add to its high profile investments list, and may be perhaps setting their sights next on acquiring New York based brand Proenza Schouler.
There seems to be talks buzzing in the fashion industry of a rumoured acquisition and at the core of it all is New York based brand Proenza Schouler which was established by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez in 2002. According to WWD, Delphine Arnault, daughter of LVMH CEO and chairman Bernard Arnault made a statement last year showing a great interest in the Proenza Schouler brand, “I love what they do. They have an amazing talent — just look at the fabrics. We’ve been following their work for a while.“Exact details at this point remain unknown, but a purchase of a 40% stake in the brand may be next up on the table for discussion.
