Pond’s Cold Cream- Seriously!

Hi everyone! My first post got delayed due to a fashion midterm at school. We had to choose a decade (I chose the 1950s, which you will come to learn I love… a lot), and recreate hair/makeup/wardrobe for a photo shoot. We then had 45 minutes to change the look into a modern interpretation of that same era! It was really cool, and my model was fantastic. I##Q##ll hopefully post a photo of it soon and then do a step by step to show you how to recreate the looks, they##Q##re really simple once you master the eyeliner! My input into this site is going to be mostly makeup, favorite products, and step by step guides on how to do certain looks. So if anyone has any questions, ideas or great products feel free to send me a message! Also if anyone has a specific look they want to learn how to do, please let me know about that as well! Comment on here on even to my personal email: lindsaychurch@hotmail.ca

Since I##Q##ve talked so much about random things, for my first post I##Q##m going to just give a little insight into a rather surprising product that I LOVE.. Pond##Q##s cold cream. No joke. I went through face washes like nobodies business, I could NEVER find one that I really loved. My skin is combination: occasionally dry, oily in places, breaks out in the T-zone (and sometimes all over depending on what time of the month it is). My acne is never bad, it##Q##s more just annoying and springs up at the most inopportune times. It##Q##s also very sensitive and can##Q##t handle many of the face washes out there. Finally, I was looking into old school face washes, thinking that maybe something that##Q##s been around a long time has been around for a reason, and I found Ponds. I fell in love with it in about 2 days. The directions are simple: put it on your face, rub in small circular motions, rinse off (or for a deeper clean, rinse off with a warm face cloth). I always use the face cloth method as otherwise it feels like it doesn##Q##t come completely off my face. It leaves you feeling smooth, soft, even-toned, and my face has hardly broke out at all this last month that I##Q##ve been using it! I use it once a day, I think twice would be too much of a good thing.

I use this one, for oily or combination skin. There was a special on shoppers, two for 10$. I think it##Q##s regularly about $10 for one, but it lasts a very long time and is completely worth it.

Does anyone have any products that they fell in love with for their skin?
