Tommy Hilfiger’s F/W 14 collection
New York Fashion Week turned into a winter wonderland thanks to Tommy Hilfiger and his spectacular runway show at the Park Avenue Armory which captivated his audience from the second they entered the auditorium with a magical scene complete with mountainous back drop, ski lift and snow.
Hilfiger’s latest collection is heavily driven by texture and pattern, with clean and clever detailing referencing the mountaineering theme so beautifully captured in the runway décor.
Immaculately tailored tartan dresses and skirts cleverly referenced the classic plaid shirt.
Outer wear made a big impact on the runway with classic shearling and fabulous oversized coats
My favorite pieces to hit the runway were undoubtedly the knits. With their quirky oversized proportions and playful details, they were super fun and fanciful.
One of the things you can’t help taking away from Tommy Hilfiger collection is, whilst frolicsome and fun, it is effortlessly wearable and timeless. I can’t wait to spot this collection out on the street!
