Barely two weeks since we welcomed the New Year, Hong Kong Fashion Week kicks off the season by introducing collections for Fall/Winter 2014-2015.

Annually hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Hong Kong Fashion Week is a stunningly vibrant and busy event spanning to about four days. This year the event had reached a milestone, with over 1,800 exhibitors from nearly 30 countries, making it one of the world’s biggest fashion week events, and officially Asia’s largest fashion fair.

Thousands of visitors, buyers and business owners alike swarmed into the Hong Kong Convention Center, all business cards and shopping bags ready to be utilized. Given the enormity of the fair, it would be a physical achievement to actually partake in all the events offered. Three floors with half-a-dozen halls as venues for industry seminars, sample sales, fashion shows and more, all catering to the intense hubbub of the fashion industry. You will really need a few days to take it all in.
